Removal |

1. |
Switch "OFF" the ignition and disconnect the negative (-) terminal of the auxiliary 12V battery. |
2. |
Remove the safety plug cover (A).
|
3. |
Unfasten the hook (A) in the direction of arrow.
|
4. |
Unfasten the lever (A) in the direction of arrow.
|
5. |
Remove the safety plug (A).
|
6. |
Remove the safety plug lever (A). |
7. |
Remove the main fuse (C) after removing the safety plug cover (B).

Inspection |
Method 1
1. |
Remove the safety plug. (Refer to High Voltage Battery Control System - "Safety Plug") |
2. |
Check the continuity between ends of the safety plug.
|
3. |
If the measured resistance is not within the specifications, then replace the main fuse according to the maintenance guideline. |
Method 2
1. |
Remove the safety plug. (Refer to High Voltage Battery Control System - "Safety Plug") |
2. |
Remove the main fuse. (Refer to "Removal") |
3. |
Check the continuity between ends of the main fuse.

4. |
If the measured resistance is not within the specifications, then replace the main fuse according to the maintenance guideline. |
Installation |

1. |
Install the main fuse in the reverse order of removal.
