Kia Niro: Key positions / Starting the hybrid system

The hybrid system will start by turning the ignition switch to START.

1. Make sure the parking brake is applied.

2. Make sure the shift lever is in P (Park).

3. Depress the brake pedal.

4. Turn the ignition switch to START. If the hybrid system starts, the "" indicator will come on.
