Kia Niro: Seat Belt System / Pretensioner (BPT) / Repair procedures
| Removal |

Disconnect the battery negative terminal, and wait for at least three minutes before beginning to work. |
| 2. |
Remove the front seat belt anchor (A).
|
| 3. |
Remove the door scurff trim. (Refer to Body (Interior and Exterior) - "Door scuff trim") |
| 4. |
Remove the center pillar trim. (Refer to Body (Interior and Exterior) - "Center pillar trim) |
| 5. |
Unscrew the top of the seat belt anchor bolts (A).

| 6. |
It separates the seat belt pre-tensioner connector (A).
|
| 7. |
Loosen the safety belt pretensioner mounting bolt (A, B) and remove the safety belt pretensioners.
|
| Installation |
| 1. |
Install in the reverse order of remova.l. |
| 2. |
After replacing the safety belt pretensioners must ensure that the system is operating normally.
